David Bowie’s The Next Day

A secret well-kept! Over the last two years David Bowie has been tracking and mixing his new album The Next Day at the Magic Shop. We are thrilled to be a part of this historic project and very happy we can finally tell the world about it. The record was produced and mixed by Tony Visconti, engineered by Mario McNulty and Magic Shop engineer Brian Thorn. Kabir Hermon was the project manager here at the studio, and was responsible for keeping things running smoothly and quietly. Owner Steve Rosenthal says “I guess it’s true, ‘If you build it, he will come.'”
